Blue Valley North Area Winterguard

We would like to up our game in quality and quantity in our colorguard program!

Colorguard is incredibly essential to the visual production of our marching band program, and winterguard is a GREAT place to recruit, train, and create opportunities and bonds that last a lifetime.

If you know ANY 6th through 12th Grade students in the BVN Area who would love to perform and gain experience in the medium of colorguard, please pass this information along! Spread the word to help us get as many people to our Try-It Nights as possible!

Hen House Grocery Bagging

The Hen House Seasonal Holiday Grocery Bagging Fundraiser is almost here!

Each year we volunteer around the holidays to bag groceries at Hen House (117th & Roe location). This fundraising opportunity earns money in two ways: a donation made by the store based on the number of hours provided AND donations and tips from customers.

Last year, we raised approximately $5000, all of which was directly used to support the BVN bands. This year, the band would like to purchase a generator, a new mixer board, a new sound system, new microphones and cables, as well as have one of the marching band trailers wrapped. The community loves meeting our students and hearing about their experience in the band.

For those new to BVN, students and parents sign up for 3-hour bagging shifts from Saturday, November 22 to Wednesday, November 26. Each shift requires one parent volunteer.
