Congratulations to the 2026 Marching Mustangs for a very strong showing a the Blue Springs High School Golden Regiment Marching Invitational on Saturday! Students were resilient and flexible throughout a rainy day and prevailed with two incredible performances.

The Marching Mustangs received 2nd Place in Class C in the morning/afternoon show, and had the 2nd highest score out of 14 bands. In the evening show, among a different group of 11 bands, the Marching Mustangs placed 3rd in the Open Class 1, with the 6th overall high school behind some amazing high powered Bands of America (BOA) Regional Finalist bands.

This weekend's success is a testament to the hard work and help from everyone involved in our band community - from the students, staff, our truck and props crew, students helping load and unload trailers, parent chaperones, boosters, meal organizers, bus drivers, truck drivers, and everyone in between. Thank you for being a part of our success story!

Sept 30 - Blue Valley North Homecoming Parade and Bonfire

All BVN Band Students (Concert Band, Concert Band Percussion, and Marching Mustangs) will march in our annual homecoming parade and bonfire pep rally on Wednesday evening!
