BVN Band Notes - Week of Nov 2nd to Nov 8th
Congratulations to the 2026 Marching Mustangs
The Marching Mustangs participated in the Kansas Bandmasters Association Open Class Championships at ANT-DAC on Saturday. Our marching band had a historical day for the band program. The Marching Mustangs finished 5th Place in Class 6A Prelims and were selected for finals for the first time since since 2022. In the Open Class Finals, the Marching Mustangs finished 8th Place. This is the highest placement for Blue Valley North in the history of KBA, which ties with their placement in 2022. You can catch one last musical performance at the BVN Music Department Gala on Wednesday! Congratulations!
Monday Night Jazz
Students are invited to our first meeting of Monday Night Jazz Band!
We will meet from 6:00pm to 7:30pm to read through some jazz music.

Class Photos - Friday
2nd Hour, 6th Hour, and 7th Hour Band Classes will take class photos for the yearbook on Friday.
Please wear your BVN Band 1/4 Zip, and jeans or dark pants for the photos. You will have time to change in and out
Spring Ensemble Auditions - Due Nov 12th at 4:00pm
A reminder to ALL band students that SPRING ENSEMBLE AUDITIONS are coming up!
Be sure you are working on your music outside of class - do not cram practice!
