John Philip Sousa Honor Band Auditions Due Tuesday
If you are auditioning for Kansas John Philip Sousa Honor Band, make sure your videos have been received by Mr. McCarty by the end of the day Tuesday. If you haven't, please be sure that you have turned in your $15 audition fee (check made to Mustang Band Boosters) to Mr. McCarty. Good luck!
Mustang Band Boosters Meeting - Tuesday
Join us on Tuesday evening at 6:30pm in the Band Room for another Mustang Band Booster meeting. Get involved and learn where we could use your help throughout the year!
Marching Mustangs to Omaha - Friday and Saturday
The Marching Mustangs will leave on Friday for Omaha for a rehearsal, visit to the Henry Doorly Zoo, a dinner and activities at Smash Park, and compete in the Omaha Marching Invitational on Saturday. Please check ParentSquare for the itinerary, schedule, bus rosters, and rooming lists.

Wednesday Oct 21st - Marching Mustangs Rehearsal at ANT-DAC
On the evening of Wednesday, October 21st, the Marching Mustangs will having their rehearsal at ANT-DAC. Please plan accordingly for taking your instrument and supplies with you after school, loading and unloading the trailers, , and for rides/carpools/transportation over to ANT-DAC. ANT-DAC is located next to Blue Valley West High School at 16200 Antioch Road.
Blue Valley District Hosts KBA Open Class Championships Oct 31st
Volunteer Signup & Volunteer Meeting - Oct 26th
The Blue Valley School District in conjunction with Blue Valley High, Blue Valley North, Blue Valley West, and Blue Valley Southwest will be the hosts for the 2026 KBA Open Class Marching Championships! This is a huge honor and undertaking.
PARENTS - We need as much volunteer help as possible! Please check your email and ParentSquare for recent postings and links for volunteer needs and sign up!
There will be an ALL VOLUNTEER MEETING on Monday, October 26th at 7pm in the Blue Valley West Band Room. Please plan to be in attendance either in person or via Zoom.
