BVN Band Notes - Week of Oct 6th to Oct 12th

Congratulations to the Marching Mustangs on a strong showing at the Valhalla Marching Festival at Parkview HS in Springfield, MO this weekend! Out of 27 marching bands, Blue Valley North finished 2nd Place in their division, received a bid for the Finals Competitions and placed 3rd overall. Way to go, Mustangs!

Spring Ensemble Placement Auditions

All band students should be preparing their Spring Ensemble Placement Audition material, which will be due by video via Canvas by October 23rd at 4pm. These auditions help us determine placement for Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble. Please consult your CANVAS assignments for materials, instructions, and prep.

East-Central KMEA District Honor Band Auditions & John Philip Sousa Honor Band Auditions - Registration & Audition Information

We encourage everyone to audition for many great honor bands in our area!

9th Graders are eligible to audition for the John Philip Sousa Honor Band and 9th-12th Graders are eligible to audition for ECKMEA District Honor Band. If you qualify for District, you are eligible to audition for the KMEA All-State Honor Band! REGISTRATION FOR ECKMEA IS IS DUE TUESDAY!
