Our 2025 Fundamentals Mini-Camps were FANTASTIC!
We are on pace to have an amazing season!
Calendar
Our band calendar is set for the Fall 2025 Semester. Pease cross-reference all of our events with your personal, school, work, etc. calendars and report any conflicts ASAP so we an create a plan. Remember to communicate EARLY and OFTEN! We want to create the best and balanced scenerio possible for the individual and all organizations/events involved, so advanced communication helps. We are still solidifying a few dates for the Spring 2026 Semester. Remember, you can view and sync our calendar through Google, iCal, or view our spreadsheet listing.

Our NEW Band Handbook is online and available.
After you have gone through the handbook as a family, please verify that you have read and understand the information.

Summer Conditioning
Summer Conditioning for Woodwind and Brass members will take place on:
June 11th, June 25th, and July 9th from 10am to 12pm at BVN.
We will meet by the Fieldhouse/Shed at the East Turf/Track field to work on marching, music, and maybe play some games! If you are in town, please come join us - attendance is not required, but highly encouraged.
Woodwind and Brass members will also be holding sectionals and gatherings throughout the summer. Percussion and Colorguard will have their own sectional and conditioning schedule - keep an eye on the BAND App.
Field Show Prop/Stage
Do you like designing and/or building?
We need parent and student volunteer help to produce a stage prop for our show!
We are looking to have a large two-tiered round stage on the field to be used as a stage and special effect. Interested? Reach out to our Band Booster Presidents or Mr. McCarty!
Drum Corps International is coming to Olathe - July 15th

Witness some of the nation's BEST marching ensembles in Olathe on July 15th at College Boulevard District Activite Center (near Olathe Northwest HS). You will be blown away by the quality of performances!
We will be purchasing a limited block of great seats for BVN Band Members and Families, so visit our store to purchase a ticket for you and your family!
