Summer Checklist

Have you taken care of everything on your summer checklist?

  • We have nearly ALL of everyone entered in our Registration & Info Form.

  • LOTS of people need to read the Band Handbook and sign the Handbook Signature Form.

  • Have you thoroughly looked through the Summer and Fall Calendar and pinpointed any overlap? Make sure you communicate with Mr. McCarty as soon as humanly possible to put plans in place!

  • We have a new parent volunteer system rolling out! Check it out and sign up. We need's everyone's help.

Parent Contribution Needs

Hi Mustang Band Families! 🎺

The marching band season is a busy one. There are over 250 parent volunteer hours to fill from July through November by 110 band families. That means each family unit must complete 2-3 volunteer slots this season.

Sign up for your volunteer slots now using the link below (this is replacing SignUp Genius). Opportunities range from quick and easy (donating food or beverages) to a few hours (setting up dinners before home football games, supervising Hen House bagging shifts) to full-day commitments (Saturday Band Competitions). While 2 slots is the minimum, we encourage every family to sign up for as many as your schedule allows — the more hands we have, the better the experience for our kids.

Slots are first-come, first-served and will be removed once full. Sign up early to secure the opportunities that work best for your family.

Thank you for helping make this season a success for our kids and the BVN Marching Mustangs! 🎺
